CA CSM RECEIVE and APPLY for the base install, without ACCEPT

Issue/Introduction

The CA CSM default mode of operation when performing a base installation is to do the RECEIVE, APPLY and ACCEPT of the base. The customer would like to use CA CSM to do the base install of CA IDMS but only wants to RECEIVE and APPLY the base install, but does not want to do the ACCEPT.

Yes, you can specify how to manage changes that are being made when applying maintenance by configuring the Base Installation Settings to verify that all of the requirements for the Accept step are satisfied before the Accept step executes.

Follow these steps; 

- Click the Settings tab, and click the Software Installation link under System Settings.

- In the Execute Checks During Base Installation section, check all four boxes. 

- Click Apply.
