VCF Automation Deployment Fails with Error: "The URL for the Component Package is Not Reachable"

Issue/Introduction

When deploying VCF Automation (VCFA) during a VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) deployment, the operation fails. The following error is observed:

The URL for the component package is not reachable.

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9.1
VCF Automation (VCFA)
VCF Management Services Platform (VMSP)

Cause

A VMCA certificate mismatch exists between the VCF installer machine and the VMSP/VCFA nodes, caused by changing the vCenter PNID after initial deployment attempts.

Resolution

 

• Access the VCFA nodes.

• Configure the VCFA nodes to trust the older VMCA certificate associated with the VCF installer machine. For steps on configuring the trust, see article 442978.

• Resume or retry the VCF Automation deployment workflow within SDDC Manager.
