VAMI not working after upgrade 9.0.1 to 9.1.0.

Issue/Introduction

Trying to reach the VAMI on https://[IP]:5480 results in a time-out.

The cap-appliance-management service is running normally on the appliance, but network execution of a curl connection test to port 5480 results in a connection timeout with no errors logged locally.

Environment

VCF Usage Meter 9.1

Cause

Inbound traffic to TCP port 5480 is blocked by an external network firewall. The packet drop behavior observed during the curl connection attempt confirms that network-layer security devices are discarding traffic before it reaches the listening socket on the appliance.

Resolution

Permit inbound traffic on TCP port 5480 within the network firewall configuration for the VMware Cloud Usage Meter appliance IP address.
