Applications are Timing Out During Staging

Issue/Introduction

Applications are timing out during the staging process. You may see errors similar to the following:

In cloud_controller_ng.log you see the droplet.upload job is taking a long time:

Job droplet.upload (id=25565383) (queue=cc-cloud_controller-5) COMPLETED after 824.5839"

Environment

Elastic Application Runtime

Cause

This can be caused by slow blobstore performance or a problem in the network between cloud controller and your blobstore

Resolution

Check your blobstore and/or network for any performance issues

To workaround the issue temporarily, you can try increasing the CF_STAGING_TIMEOUT
