Issue/Introduction

After installing Vantage GMI 14.1.9 and changing the STC to J21, we receive this error when starting:
main Error SafConfigurationServiceProd - Mandatory property vsp.saf.authentication.enabled is not valid:null

Cause

Customer is using the old VANWEBUI started task proc.

Resolution

The following steps need to be performed to fix the issue.

1. After applying the PTF LU19767,  a new sample VANWEBUI proc for Java 21 will be copied to yourHLQ.CCTUSAMP library. Copy this VANWEBUI proc from CCTUSAMP library to user library and customize it. 

2. Please refer to the Vantage tech doc section 'Vantage SP SAF-Based Authentication Parameters' and update these variables in the new VANWEBUI proc with appropriate values.

Restart the VANWEBUI proc.
