Condition skipped with "If Planned" dependency

Issue/Introduction

In Dollar Universe, a conditioning Uproc using the "If Planned" dependency may be skipped unexpectedly during execution. This occurs even when the conditioning session is launched, causing the task to complete without entering the expected "Event Wait" status.

Environment

• Product: Dollar Universe 7.x

Cause

The Session Header Uproc has its Functional Period set to None. When a dependency is set to "If Planned," the conditioning engine evaluates the Session, Header, Management Unit, and Processing Date. If the Header Uproc has no defined functional period, it cannot generate a valid processing date for the dependency check, causing the condition to be ignored/skipped.

Resolution

1. Open the Session Header Uproc definition.
2. Navigate to the Events or Scheduling tab.
3. Update the Functional Period from None to at least Day (or the appropriate period for your scheduling needs).
4. Save the changes and redeploy the Uproc/Session if necessary.
5. Verify that the conditioning Uproc now correctly waits for the dependency.

Note: If this Session Header Uproc is shared across multiple sessions, ensure that changing the functional period aligns with the scheduling requirements of all associated sessions.
