Data Insights "Owner" field checkbox appears unchecked after saving in AAI v24.4.1

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading to Automation Analytics & Intelligence (AAI) v24.4.1, users encounter the following behavior within the Data Insights module:

• When editing or creating a Data Insight, the user selects the Owner field or other fields under the Columns tab.
• After clicking Save, if the user re-opens the configuration, the Owner checkbox appears unchecked.
• This behavior persists even after multiple attempts to save the configuration.

Resolution

This is working as designed.

The check box is not an indicator to enable or disable the column from being seen in the Data Insight, but rather and indicator to select which columns you want to remove from the report.

A user can select which columns on the right hand side by checking them, and then using the left arrow to remove them from the report.
