Issue/Introduction

• Custom Script Rule was created:

  • Script Type:

    *.dmg

  • Script Process:

    */DiskImageMounter*

• Mounting of DMG files is no longer blocked as expected after upgrading the macOS agent to version 8.10.x

Environment

• Carbon Black App Control: Agent 8.10.x
• macOS: All Supported Versions

Cause

Issue being investigated in CRE-24034 / EPCB-25391

Resolution

This will be resolved in the upcoming 8.11 version release
