Issue/Introduction

• SDDC Manager patch has been downloaded.
• No available upgrade shows for SDDC Manager in VCF Operations - Build - Lifecycle - VCF Instances - SDDC Manager Upgrades - Available Upgrades.

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 9.1.0

Resolution

The upgrade of SDDC Manager has been migrated to domain upgrade plan. Following the steps in Upgrade or Patch an Individual VCF Component

1. Expand VCF Instances and select a domain in your VCF instance.
2. Click the Upgrades tab and click the Plan Component Upgrade button.
3. The Plan Component Upgrade wizard opens.
4. On the Select Components and Target Version, select the SDDC Manager and its target version, and click Next.
5. On the Plan Overview page, click Submit Plan.
6. In the Upgrade Sequence section, in the component card, click Run Prechecks.
7. Resolve any issues before proceeding with an upgrade.
8. In the Upgrade Sequence section, in the component card, to upgrade the selected component, click Schedule or Start Now.
