NSX Advanced Load Balancer adapters show Warning status due to Management Pack incompatibility in VCF Operations

Issue/Introduction

• NSX Advanced Load Balancer adapters display a Warning status in the VCF Operations UI.
• Under Administration > Integrations, the status icon for adapters is a yellow triangle/warning.
• Metrics may not be collecting as expected from the ALB environment.

Environment

Aria Operations 8.18.x

Cause

The installed version of the NSX Advanced Load Balancer management pack is not compatible with the NSX Advanced Load Balancer version

Resolution

1. Review the Broadcom Product Interoperability Matrix to identify the correct version of the NSX Advanced Load Balancer management pack to use in the environment
2. Download the latest version of the NSX Advanced Load Balancer management pack from the Broadcom Support Portal
3. Log in to VCF Operations as an administrator.
4. Navigate to Administration > Integrations.
5. Select Repository and locate the NSX Advanced Load Balancer Management Pack.
6. Click Upgrade and upload the Management Pack pak file downloaded in step 2.
7. Follow the prompts to complete the installation.
8. Verify that the adapter status returns to a healthy green OK state after the next collection cycle (~5-10 minutes).
