Patching vCenter / ESX during the evaluation period

Issue/Introduction

This addresses concerns regarding whether patching can be performed while in evaluation period before a subscription license is assigned following a vCenter/ESXi upgrade.

Resolution

Even when vCenter / ESX is under an evaluation license, applying patches is technically possible.
There is no need to wait for the subscription license to be assigned.
To minimize security risks, if a vulnerability is identified, apply the patch promptly according to the standard process, regardless of the current license status.
