How to copy Log Analyzer for Db2 for z/OS (PLA) strategies from one system to another.
How can this be achieved?

Resolution

To copy a Strategy from one System to another system follow these steps.

On the source system "Log Analyzer - Strategy Services" panel
Put a "C" next to Strategy you wish to copy.

In the "Strategy Copy Panel" that appears
Fill in the relevant Source/Target information

Select B for Batch on this panel also.

PF3 until to get to the
"Copy Strategy - Output Specifications" panel

Complete the following:
DATA File DSN
CNTL File DSN

CNTL is a Batch Processor load job.
DATA are the Strategy records to be copied.

Execute these on your target system to create the Strategy.

When you first execute the Strategy select "Log Resume" A
and enter a specific Date/time range.

After this you can execute it in Resume Mode.
