url_response probe not generating SSL certificate expiration alarms

Issue/Introduction

Profiles in the url_response probe are configured to monitor SSL certificate expiration, but no alarms are appearing in the Alarm Console or Operator Console even when the certificate is within the expiration threshold.

Environment

• Product: DX Unified Infrastructure Management (UIM)
  Probe: url_response (All versions)

Cause

The most common cause for this issue is that the Alarm checkbox is disabled within the profile properties. Even if thresholds (such as 'Certificate expire within X days') are defined, the probe will not issue an alarm to the message bus unless the alarm property is explicitly enabled.

Resolution

1. 1. Open the url_response probe configuration.
2. 2. Locate and select the affected Profile.
   3. Verify the Alarm properties checkbox is checked.
3. 4. Save the configuration.
