VCF Log Management deployment fails with the error "VCF component install initialization. Status Failed"

Issue/Introduction

• This error is encountered during a fresh installation of VMware Cloud Foundation 9.1.
• The deployment of the Log Management component stops during the "Install VCF services runtime" step with the following error message: 
  • "VCF component install initialization. Status Failed"

Environment

Cause

• This issue occurs when VCF Management Instance sizing (e.g., Simple/Small) is insufficient to support the requirements of the selected Log Management profile (e.g., Large).
• The deployment engine is unable to initialize the VCF services runtime because the underlying compute and memory resources do not meet the minimum specifications for that specific profile

Resolution

Ensure that the environment resources align with the required sizing for all deployed components. To remediate this failure, follow these steps:

1. Verify the sizing profile assigned to your VCF Management instance and the specific Log Management profile selected in the deployment wizard.
2. Scale up the management environment to a compatible resource level, such as HA-Large.
3. Monitor the VCF Installer or SDDC Manager interface as it detects the expanded capacity and automatically resumes the initialization task.
4. Confirm that the Log Management component status transitions to Healthy in the VCF Operations dashboard.
