Issue while installing Nimsoft on the Windows server using PowerShell

Issue/Introduction

We are facing an issue while installing Nimsoft on the Windows server using PowerShell. During the installation, a new PowerShell window keeps opening repeatedly, and the installation does not complete successfully.

Environment

UIM 23.4.4

Robot 23.4.4

 

Cause

Powershell installation does not allow complete and proper installation of the robot.

Resolution

Follow the steps below for the robot installation:

1. Use nimsoft-robot-x64.exe for 64-bit machines and nimsoft-robot-x32.exe for 32-bit machines in the PowerShell script.

2. Use the Windows Command Prompt to run the command and complete the installation.
