VCF Automation user interface becomes inaccessible. When attempting to access the VCF Automation FQDN, the web browser displays a "no healthy upstream" error message.
VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Automation 9.1
An IP address conflict occurred on the local network involving the VCF Automation Virtual IP (VIP). Another appliance on the network was incorrectly configured to use the exact same IP address as the VCF Automation VIP. This IP address conflict intercepts and misroutes network traffic intended for the VCF Automation ingress controller, leading directly to the "no healthy upstream" error when attempting to load the interface.
Resolution:
Identify the conflicting appliance on the network currently utilizing the VCF Automation VIP.
Shut down the conflicting appliance or reconfigure its network settings to use an available, non-conflicting IP address.
Verify that the network switch correctly routes VIP traffic exclusively to the VCF Automation appliance.
Refresh the web browser to confirm that access to the VCF Automation user interface is successfully re-established.
