Issue/Introduction

Why is message "DBO0009I ENVIRONMENTAL PARAMETERS: NOT APF AUTH" and DBO0601I CONTROL STATEMENT ANALYSIS STARTED issued when
DBO runs in BMC compatibility mode, even if the STEPLIB concatenation is APF authorized?

Resolution

DBO runs unauthorized in BMC compatibility mode because the BMC control statements like PLUSIN sheds authorization before linking
to the BMC utility mode, which DBO frontends to receive control. So the message DBO0009I is expected, and the line following message
DBO0601I is simply showing what input was received by the DB Utility. DBO will still run authorized in native mode if the STEPLIB
concatenation has been APF authorized.
