Missing Request Body Schema in Swagger Documentation

Issue/Introduction

When reviewing the API documentation via Swagger UI for the Symantec Identity Security Platform (IDSP), the request body Schema or Example Value for various endpoints (such as the PATCH endpoint for AuthPolicies) does not completely populate or display the required properties.

Instead, the documentation may only show empty structures or basic placeholders (e.g., an empty Operations block) without the granular field definitions needed to construct a valid API request. This behavior is global across multiple IDSP 4.0 API endpoints and is not isolated to a single policy or route.

Resolution

This defect will be formally resolved in the upcoming IDSP 4.1.1 release. The exact dates are unknown but as soon as they become available, the KB article will be updated. If you need any clarifications, please reach out to the Broadcom support team.
