VMware Aria Operations 8.17.x upgrade compatibility using 8.14.x to 8.18.3 PAK file

Issue/Introduction

When upgrading VMware Aria Operations, users may find only one upgrade PAK file on the Broadcom portal labeled "8.14.x to 8.18.3." 

Symptoms:

1. The Broadcom portal only lists an upgrade file for "8.14.x to 8.18.3."
   
   
2. Uncertainty whether version 8.17.x requires a specific intermediate file or if the consolidated PAK is supported for a direct upgrade.

Resolution

The consolidated upgrade PAK file labeled "8.14.x to 8.18.3" is the correct and fully supported file to use for upgrading environments from version 8.17.x.

Broadcom provides a single, consolidated upgrade PAK file designed to support all source versions of VMware Aria Operations starting from 8.14.x and newer. No alternative or intermediate upgrade files are required for this path.
