VCF Automation backups are not appearing on the SFTP location configured in VCF Operations

Issue/Introduction

• VCF Operations has been upgraded from 9.0.2 to 9.1 except VCF Automation which is still on 9.0.2
• VCF Management services gets deployed as part of this upgrade. At this point the backup/restore configuration is missing from VCF Operations GUI
• VCF Automation gets upgraded to 9.1 and now shows up as a valid backup / restore target in VCF Ops, but the configuration does not agree with the VCFA VM's configuration

Environment

• VCF Operations 9.1
• VCF Automation 9.1

Cause

The backup/restore file path is changed between VCF 9.0 and 9.1

Depending on the timing of SFTP backup reconfiguration and VCFA upgrade, the file path may not be aligned between Management and VCFA Appliance

Resolution

Change the SFTP config in VCF Ops (and then change it back if needed), to get the change to be applied on VCFA.

By reapplying the backup settings, they are pushed out to VCFA as well and backup/restore now works as intended.
