NetMaster Network Automation SOLVE NetMaster Network Management for SNA NetMaster Network Management for TCP/IP NetMaster File Transfer Management

Issue/Introduction

A new LPAR was created and Netmaster files were copied over from another system and restored.

When proc was started the following error message displays:

IAIN0167 (NM) parameter group $IP IPFILES failed. Error message follows
N47H99 N23Q03 PROCESS FAILED. NCLID: 000443 DOMAIN: AAAA

PROC: $IPINWIZ REASON: 9 - STATEMENT ERROR
IAIN0143 (NM) Initialization failures have occurred

In the STC log we found the IPLO8211 message -

IPLO8211 Domain ID inside NDB hlq.IPLOG is not AAAA

Resolution

The message help on message id IPLO8211 indicates a 'NDB START' command was issued for the IPLOG Reporting database but another domain ID was present in the NDB control record.

The User Action is to check to ensure that this dataset is not currently in use by another  region.

If it is not being used and you are sure that this is the dataset you wish to open, issue the 'NDB START IPLOG FORCE UNLOCK' command from an OCS window and then re-initialize the Reporting feature from the Administration menu.
