Issue/Introduction

This article clarifies whether the RA Oracle ERP Agent and the Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Agent can coexist within the same Automic Automation environment (e.g., AE V24.3) for separate module or job ownership.

Environment

• Product: Automic Automation
• Versions: AE V24.3 and higher
• Agents: RA Oracle ERP Agent, Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Agent

Resolution

The RA Oracle ERP Agent and the Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Agent cannot run side-by-side on the same Automic Automation environment.

The Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Agent is designed to replace the RA Oracle ERP Agent. Once you install the Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Agent, the legacy RA Oracle ERP Agent is no longer required.

Key Compatibility Details:

• Replacement: The Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Agent replaces the RA Oracle ERP Agent solution.
• Job Compatibility: Jobs or Job Sets created with the previous RA Oracle ERP Cloud Agent solution remain fully compatible with the new Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Agent integration (per Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Jobs: Oracle ERP Cloud Job).
• Migration Path: To move to the new agent, stop the old RA agent before starting the Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Agent.
