Issue/Introduction

After successfully deploying a greenfield VCF Instance, it is not visible on the left-hand side navigation pane with the other instances when navigating from Build > Lifecycle > VCF Instances due to VCF Adapter instance not getting created automatically. When trying to manually create the same, it fails with error message:

Received response with failure from Collector with id: ##
Cannot perform operation.
VC extensions info check task failed

Environment

VCF Operations 9.1

Resolution

To resolve this issue, create a vCenter integration account separately and then try to create the VCF integration account. Once this operation is performed, the vCenter integration will merge with VCF Adapter leading to resolution of this issue.
