Issue/Introduction

After applying maintenance ie: PTFs LU03218 and LU04069, following message is issued in CAIQD2E started task:

ESF4240 CA Spool Java Transformer Level Set not found or invalid

OM Spool 14.0

z/OS

Java Transformers (64-bit)

Cause

This message is informational and indicates that the Level Set for the Java Transformer could not be determined.

This typically happens when the HOLDDATA actions of PTF SO13482 have not been performed.

Resolution

Level Set module E0CLVSET is contained in cai.CE0CLOAD. To resolve the issue:

1. Verify that PTF SO13482 has been applied.
2. Ensure you are using the new procedure CE0CPROC(CAIQD2E) delivered with SO13482, this procedure includes cai.CE0CLOAD in STEPLIB
3. Restart CAIQD2E
4. Check the logs for CAIQD2E and confirm message ESF4240 is not present
5. Ensure that the member referenced by STDENV correctly defines the required 64-bit environment variables, including JAVA_HOME and PATH.
