Orchestrator 9.1 cannot send emails with attachments

Issue/Introduction

Sending emails with attachments in Orchestrator 9.1 using custom workflow/action code fails with the below error:

ERROR vco [host='vco-app-########-#####' thread='WorkflowExecutorPool-Thread-###' user=... SCRIPTING_LOG - [####/####_SendMailWithAttachement (7/3/26 10:19:24)] Error in (Workflow:#### / Scriptable task (item1)#66) Cannot send mail : 'IOException while sending message' Cause: '"text/html" DataContentHandler requires String object, was given object of type class ch.dunes.model.fileattachment.MimeAttachment'

Environment

VCF Operations Orchestrator 9.1.

Resolution

Issue is fixed in an updated Mail plugin for Orchestrator: VCF Operations Orchestrator Mail plug-in 9.1.0.0401

To install the plugin, follow the steps from the document Install an VCF Operations Orchestrator plug-in.

To download the new plugin version from the Broadcom Support Portal:

My Downloads -> Search for the VMware Cloud Foundation -> Open the product -> Switch to the Solutions tab -> select v9.1.0.0 -> Open "VCF Operations Orchestrator Mail plug-in 9.1.0.0401".
