oi_connector 2.11 NASS unavailable and queues build up after upgrade

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to check the oi_connector probe configuration, the following error message was displayed:

NASS url is unavailable. :0

Click Close to close dialog.

 

• The probe was upgraded from oi_connector 2.00 to 2.11

Environment

• DX UIM Version: 23.4 CU6
• oi_connector Version: 2.11 (upgraded from 2.00)
• Target Platform: DX Operational Intelligence (DXO2)

Cause

Educated Guess: A direct upgrade from oi_connector2.00 to 2.11 likely caused a compatibility or configuration mismatch.

Resolution

1. Downgrade the oi_connector probe to version 2.03.
2. Verify that connectivity to DXO2 is restored and alarms begin to flow.
3. Upgrade the oi_connector probe to version 2.10.
4. Confirm that both Alarms and QoS data are processing correctly before attempting any further updates to 2.11.
