Errors in executing queries no data is being returned

Issue/Introduction

Executing queries that previously ran fine, now return no data. Along with failing to export the results.

Users may see IO exceptions during execution.

Symptoms

• Queries return no data.
• Export of query results fails.
• Error: IO.IO exception appears during query execution.

Environment

Control Compliance Suite (CCS)
All supported Manager configurations

Cause

This issue occurs due to missing or incorrect domain cache credentials, a corrupted domain cache file, or an inaccessible network share for exports.

Resolution

• Verify that domain cache credentials exist for all domains being collected against.
• Check assets to ensure the domain format (e.g., domain\asset or domain.example.test\asset) matches an existing credential.
• Stop CCS services on all Manager nodes.
• Delete the domain cache file from each Manager to allow the system to rebuild it from scratch.
• Restart CCS services.
• For export failures, verify the target share location is accessible to all Managers and that permissions allow active sharing.
