Issue/Introduction

When using the Foundation Core UI to view or configure the Harbor Registry tile v2.15.2, various configuration tabs may appear in a red or "error" state.

This occurs even when the tile is successfully deployed and the configuration appears healthy in the Classic Ops Manager UI.

Symptoms

  • Configuration tabs in Foundation Core appear red or indicate they are incomplete.
  • Users are unable to select certain fields, such as Availability Zones (AZs), within the Foundation Core interface.
  • The "Apply Changes" process completes successfully despite the UI warnings.
  • The Classic Ops Manager UI shows all configurations as correct and healthy.

Environment

  • VMware Tanzu Operations Manager (Ops Manager) 3.3.x
  • Harbor Registry Tile 2.15.2
  • Foundation Core UI

Cause

This issue is caused by a product defect in how the Foundation Core UI renders configuration metadata for the Harbor Registry tile.

Resolution

Issue will be fixed in upcoming release.

Workaround:

To manage your configuration in the interim, use the following workaround:

  1. Log in to the Classic Ops Manager UI.
  2. Navigate to the Harbor Registry tile.
  3. Perform all configuration changes and verify settings within the Classic UI.
  4. Verify that "Apply Changes" completes without errors.
