Unable to configure depot settings in SDDC Manager

Issue/Introduction

• In SDDC Manager, when navigating to Administration --> Depot Settings and click "GO TO SOFTWARE DEPOT", the UI fails to redirect to the software depot configuration page. Consequently, the software depot cannot be configured.
• This behavior occurs if the deployment of VCF Operations and VCF Automation is deferred during the VCF 9.1 bring-up process by selecting the option "Deploy VCF Operations and VCF Automation to a specific vSphere distributed switch or NSX segment."
• While VCF Operations remains undeployed, VCF service runtime components are deployed successfully during bring-up.

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 9.1

Cause

SDDC Manager requires an active VCF Operations deployment to process and manage depot settings. The depot configuration page will not function without VCF Operations.

Resolution

To enable the depot settings, VCF Operations component needs to be deployed:

1. Launch the VCF installer.
2. Select the "Deploy deferred components" option.
3. Follow the steps in the deployment wizard to deploy VCF Operations and VCF Automation.

Once the VCF Operations deployment completes, the software depot configuration page will open and function as expected.
