Issue/Introduction

After upgrading Easytrieve from version 6.4 to 11.6 in compatibility mode, some jobs still show FILE STATISTICS - CA-EASYTRIEVE PLUS 6.4 in the Sysprint output instead of the expected version 11.6 information.

Cause

This issue occurs because the programs in question were last recompiled and link-edited under the older version (6.4). Even though the environment has been upgraded, pre-compiled code that has not been refreshed will continue to report the version information from its original compilation time.

Resolution

To resolve the version display discrepancy, recompile and link-edit the affected programs under Easytrieve 11.6.
