Error "Received error response - too old resource version" seen in catalog logs and users cannot see resources in their namespace/project

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• "Services are not available for this namespace, try again later or check with your administrator." is seen in the Services view for the namespace in VCFA
• Affecting all users on certain projects.
• The issue does not match to the certificate or proxy issues mentioned in these articles:
  • KB 407830: VCF Automation Organization Services shows "Services are not available for this namespace, try again later or check with your administrator." for a given namespace.
  • KB 420377: VCF Automation 9 not listing services under namespaces. Error: "Services are not available for this namespace, try again later or check with your administrator."
• This error is seen in the catalog service logs referencing the namespace:
  • vmoperator.vmware.com/v1alpha3/virtualmachines(<NAMESPACE>): Retrying list with fixed delay for error class com.vmware.tango.k8sinformer.ResourceGoneException and error WATCH: Received error response - too old resource version: ##### (#####) (code: 410) 

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation Automation 9.0.2

Cause

Due to a known issue in early GA builds of VCFA 9.0.2, the project is not always returned in the list for permission updates, which can cause an incomplete permissions update

Resolution

The VCFA appliance will need to be upgraded to patch 9.0.2.0213 or later.
