Emails are delivered to recipients with "[SUSPECTED SPAM]" or similar tags prepended to the subject line. This occurs even when no such policy is configured within Email Security.cloud (ESS).
Email Security.cloud
The subject line modification is performed by the sender's infrastructure or an intermediate mail hop before the email reaches Broadcom Email Security.cloud. Internal policies at the sender's site can prepend these tags based on their own spam scoring.
1. Verify the subject line in Track and Trace logs to see if the tag was present upon receipt at the Broadcom gateway.
2. If the tag is present in the logs at the time of ingest and none of the Email Security Services were triggered then contact the sender's IT department to investigate their outbound mail policies.
