Loop occurs when using the Jopaz product(Software AG) compiler with SUBSYS=LAM

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to read a copybook member using the SUBSYS=LAM of Librarian in a Jopaz product compiler(Java program in batch mode), a loop occurs.

OS : z/OS

Release : R4.4

Cause

Regarding the issue where the Jopaz product compiler cannot read copy clause members using Librarian's SUBSYS=LAM, Software AG's investigation revealed that Jopaz products are designed to only support PDS files.
Software AG advised customers to use PDS files.

Resolution

Because Jopaz products cannot directly access the Librarian's master file, please copy the members to a PDS file.
