Resolution

Updated RHEL 8 Driver

An updated KMOD driver for RHEL 8 to address a rare issue with netstat command when using IPS has been released

  • DCS Agent Version: DCS 6.9.1 to DCS 6.10.1
  • KMOD Version 10.0.8.2818


New Kernel Support

The Symantec engineering team has qualified Data Center Security (DCS) on the following versions of DCS and Linux kernel module (KMOD).

New kernel support is added to the following Linux platforms for DCS 6.10.1 with KMOD 10.0.8.2822

  • Ubuntu 24 x86_64

    • 6.8.0-1060-aws

    • 6.8.0-134-generic

  • Ubuntu 22 x86_64

    • 6.8.0-1060-aws
