Sub-Profiles are missing when configuring the nutanix_monitor probe using MCS

Issue/Introduction

When accessing the **Monitoring Configuration** window in Operator Console (OC), users may find that while the "Setup Nutanix (Enhanced)" template is available, no other monitoring templates (e.g., Nutanix Cluster, Nutanix VMs) are visible. This occurs even after successfully deploying the "Setup Nutanix (Enhanced)" profile. Without these templates, MCS profiles cannot be created or configured for specific Nutanix resources.

Environment

• Product: DX Unified Infrastructure Management 23.4
• Probe: nutanix_monitor 2.00 / 3.00

Cause

You may run into this issue as there is a change in the template hierarchy for newer versions of the nutanix_monitor probe. The monitoring sub-profiles are now nested within the **Setup Nutanix (Enhanced)** profile structure rather than appearing as standalone top-level templates in the UI.

Resolution

To access and configure the monitoring sub-profiles, follow these steps after adding the "Setup Nutanix (Enhanced)" profile:

1. Log in to the Operator Console.
2. Navigate to the Monitoring Config section for the robot.
3. Open the "Setup Nutanix (Enhanced)" profile.
4. Locate the sub-profiles within the expanded view of the "Setup Nutanix (Enhanced)" profile.
5. Configure the required sub-profiles (e.g., Nutanix Cluster, Nutanix Hosts, Nutanix VMs) as needed.

**Note:** If the sub-profiles do not appear as expected, ensure that the Configuration_Reader_Service (CRS) probe is correctly deployed to the remote hubs. It may take 10–20 minutes for the robot to contact the CRS probe and synchronize the configuration.
