Issue/Introduction
Unable to access the VM via RDP or VMRC console.
Removing the VMware SVGA driver and switching to Microsoft Basic Display Adapter, the issue persists.
The system fails to reach the user logon interface, and Safe Mode is inaccessible
- Error maybe displayed while trying to access the Windows UI "The system detected an overrun of a stack-based buffer in this application. This overrun could potentially allow a malicious user to gain control of this application."

Cause
The issue is caused to due an inappropriately implemented GPO which has overwritten “Bypass traverse checking” within the Windows Operating System.
Resolution
Contact Microsoft Support for further assistance and fixing the issue.
