Issue/Introduction

Question:

During IM startup there is a warning of "Not setting tenant key for environment". What does this line mean? Can it be safely ignored?

Environment

Release: CAIDMB99000-12.6.8-Identity Manager-B to B
Component:

Resolution

A tenant in the context of Identity Manager is a subscriber to the IM SaaS solution (CloudMinder). CloudMinder and on-premise Identity Manager share the same code base which is why the message appears in both products. If you are not running a CloudMinder system then there is no tenant key to set because the tenant key is exclusively part of the SaaS solution. This warning can be safely ignored in all non-SaaS environments.
