Does CA Vantage exploit IBM zIIP specialty processors ?
Answer:
CA Vantage SRM is designed to exploit IBM zIIP specialty processors when they are installed and enabled on the system where CA Vantage SRM is running.
This is documented in the CA Vantage Configuration Guide, chapter "Exploitation of the zIIP Specialty Processor".
By default, CA Vantage SRM does not attempt to make work eligible to run on the zIIP processor.
To activate zIIP processing in CA Vantage you need to set the CA Vantage parameter ZIIPIT to Y and restart the CA Vantage task.
