Need to report Datastore utilization metrics with the ability to export to csv format for a period of time

Issue/Introduction

Utilizing Aria Operations 8.18.6 requires a periodic CSV export of NetApp datastore usage and throughput metrics restricted to a 7-day range. 

Environment

Aria Operations 8.18.x

Cause

Standard Views cannot execute scheduled CSV exports directly. Furthermore, inspected the default "Datastore utilization summary view" and confirmed it is locked to a 30-day metric collection period. Native dashboard and view configurations do not provide a direct method for this specific scheduled export.

Resolution

1. Navigate to Visualize > Views (or Operations > Views).

2. Clone the existing "Datastore utilization summary view".

3. Edit the cloned View and update the Time Settings parameter to 7 days.

4. Ensure Make the view available at > Report template creation and modification is selected.

5. Navigate to Operations > Reports and create a new Report Template.

6. Embed the cloned 7-day View into the Report Template Structure.

7. Set the output format to CSV and configure the scheduling engine to run periodically.
