SAP Datasphere integration fails with Automic SAP BTP Agent

Issue/Introduction
When attempting to integrate the Automic Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) Agent with SAP Datasphere to trigger task chains or replication flows, the job fails with authentication or protocol errors.
The following errors are observed in the agent logs:
20260505/074533.438 - U00045015 The previous error was caused by 'com.automic.ra.agent.RaJobException: "Authentication Failure: Expected a JSON object but received..."
2026-05-13 10:07:45 ERROR: Possible Reason: java.net.MalformedURLException: no protocol: ####/scheduler/jobs/REPLICATION_FLOWS/EXECUTE/OUT_PUSH/SGN_DSP_TEST/schedules/
Environment
- Automic Workload Automation (AWA) 24.4.x
- Automic Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) Agent 24.0.0
- SAP Datasphere REST APIs
Cause
The SAP BTP Agent does not currently support integration with SAP Datasphere REST APIs for triggering task chains or replication flows.
Resolution
