Resolution

  • Configuration error. Given information is not correct to validate the test user for the User Store xxxxx.
    • Confirm the user in the User DN field has the correct search permissions to the User Store and the Password is correct.
    • Confirm the user in Test User Name satisfies the Search Criteria for that user store.
    • Confirm the format of the user in Test User Name matches the format in the User Store filter (sAMAccountName, UserPrincipalName, etc.)
  • Test bind failed. Be sure you have the correct Host, Port, SSL (if selected), and Bind information for the User Store
    • Confirm that the server hostname or IP address in the 'Host' section is accurate.
    • Confirm the VIP EGW server can reach the full host name or IP address of the LDAP server.
    • If SSL is enabled, check the validity of the LDAP server SSL certificate.
    • Confirm the SSL root and intermediate CA are imported into both the the Enterprise Gateway Trusted CA Certificate settings and the host operating system root and intermediate cert store.
