Resolution

Even without an active subscription or access to the Tanzu Application Catalog dashboard, users can browse the available virtual machine images provided by Bitnami through the VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Solutions Marketplace.

To verify the available VMware virtual machine images:

1. Navigate to the VCF Solutions Marketplace using the filtered URL below: Bitnami Virtual Machines
2. The page will display a list of all Bitnami-published applications available in the Virtual Machine form factor.
3. You can use the search bar within the Marketplace to filter for specific applications (e.g., MySQL, Redis, etc.) to see if a VM version is offered.
4. Click on individual entries to view metadata, version history, and specific architectural details.

Note: While browsing and metadata verification are public, downloading or deploying these hardened images may still require appropriate entitlements or a Broadcom support account depending on the specific image's licensing (Free vs. Commercial).
