ESX host accounts show "disconnected" after adding it to a workload domain cluster with vSphere Configuration Profiles enabled

Issue/Introduction

An ESX host that has been commissioned and added to a VCF cluster configured with vSphere Configuration Profiles (VCP) will have the service account (svc-vcf-<hostname>) associated with SDDC Manager deleted when the profile is applied to the host and its rebooted.

Environment

VCF 9.0.x

Cause

During the reboot remediation, a known issue with VCPs causes the service account to be remove from configStore. 

Resolution

This issue is resolved in VCF 9.1

To work around this problem in earlier releases, recreate the account after it is removed using the methods described in Re-create missing SDDC Manager Service account on an ESXi host.
