1. Keyword Syntax Breakdown

The syntax for this date condition keyword is defined as WEKRn#nn.

 
  • First n (Day of the Week): Defines the day of the week anchor to establish the start of the week / first day of the year cycle:

    • 1: Monday

    • 2: Tuesday

    • 3: Wednesday

    • 4: Thursday

    • 5: Friday

    • 6: Saturday

    • 7: Sunday

  • Second nn (Week Number): Specifies the week number in two digits, ranging from 01 to 52.

2. Extended Calendar Configuration Example

When creating or editing an Extended Calendar using autocal_asc or the AutoSys Web UI, enter the parameters as follows:

Example: WEKR5#27

  • Day Anchor (5): Sets Friday as the start of the week anchor for the year.

  • Week Number (#27): Selects the 27th week based on that Friday cycle anchor and generates a full week (7 consecutive days) starting on that Friday.

Calculation Walkthrough for Year 2027:

  1. First Friday of 2027: January 1, 2027.

  2. Week 27 Calculation: Adding 26 weeks (182 days) to January 1, 2027 brings the start date of Week 27 to July 2, 2027.

  3. Generated Schedule Dates: The extended calendar will generate dates for the entire 7-day span: July 2, 2027 – July 8, 2027.
