Issue/Introduction

VCF Business Service console shows higher license core usage (e.g., 180 cores) than the actual environment capacity (e.g., 132 cores).

Note: You must license a minimum of 16 physical cores for each CPU (physical processor) in your ESXi hosts, even if a CPU has fewer than 16 cores.

Cause

There is a duplication of record in VCF Operations database which causes this discrepancy.

Resolution

Raise a ticket with Broadcom Technical Support and refer this KB 446103.
