Issue/Introduction
The CONFIGURE SSO option is greyed out in VCFOPS under Manage > Identity & Access > VCF SSO Overview:
Duplicate certificates for the vCenter adapter were present in the environment under Operate > Administration > Control Panel > Trusted Certificates
Environment
VMware Cloud Foundation 9.1
Cause
Two distinct certificates contained identical endpoints but different thumbprints, causing connection failures during the collection cycle and preventing successful SSO configuration.
Resolution
Remove Conflicting Certificates
Navigate to Operate > Administration > Control Panel > Trusted Certificates.
Locate the vCenter adapter experiencing the issue and identify the certificates with mismatched thumbprints.
Delete the conflicting certificates by clicking the vertical ellipsis (three dots) next to each one and selecting Delete.
