GeneratePreValidateHostRemoteDatastoreL3InputActionVMware SDDC Manager 5.X
The Add Host workflow fails during the GeneratePreValidateHostRemoteDatastoreL3InputAction action, this indicates that there is XVC (Cross-vCenter) datastore mounted from the affected cluster.
Note: During workflow execution, the datastore object conversion task encounters an unsupported type, that causes a type-cast failure and ends the workflow.
A subsequent Add Host attempt failed at guardrail validation stage. The guardrail performs a host-count consistency check between the SDDC Manager inventory and the vCenter inventory. This is because, the host is associated with the cluster in SDDC Manager inventory but is not present in the vCenter cluster leading to an inventory state mismatch.
Workaround:
For Manually add host to vCenter and configure NSX-T, please submit a Support Request with Broadcom Support for guidance.
