Issue/Introduction

Running the show-connectivity-status command on the collector displays the platform VM IP address instead of the platform FQDN/URL when checking the collector pairing status.

Resolution

VCF Operations for Networks does not currently support pairing using the FQDN for on prem deployments; instead, it always uses the IP address.

Additional Information

Previously, Aria Operations for Networks/vRealize Network Insight supported FQDNs for Cloud/SaaS deployments; however, these SaaS/Cloud deployment options are no longer available.
