Status query command on tomcat server fails

Issue/Introduction

Unable to retrieve information when running the command f ####,status for the Tomcat started task. While this command returns output for other components, Tomcat displays a BPXM022E MODIFY SYNTAX ERROR or does not return the expected status information.

Environment

Broadcom Compliance Event Manager
Tomcat Server

Cause

The STATUS command is designed for use with specific components within the product architecture. These components include:
Alert
Logger
Monitor
Warehouse
Router
Tomcat does not support the STATUS command.

Resolution

Do not use the STATUS command to query the Tomcat server. To verify the status of the Tomcat component, review the JES2 job log for the started task (e.g., ####CMTOM).
