Issue/Introduction

This is a tech doc to advise what to do after making changes to the Secure Domain Connector settings by modifying the sdc.config file or the Secure Domain Manager by modifying the sdm.config

After making changes to the SDConnector or the SDM do I need to restart the SDConnector process?  Is there any process to restart for SDM?

Environment

Release: Any version of Spectrum
Component:

Resolution

Settings for the SDC are held in the sdc.config file on the SDC machine.  These settings are applied when the sdc.config is read at startup and therefore after making any changes to SDC settings in this file you need to restart the SDConnector process.

Settings for the SDM are held in the sdm.config file on the SpectroSERVER.  If you make any changes to the sdm.config you need to reimport them by navigating in the OneClick gui to the Secure Domain Connector model, select the Information tab on the upper right, then Configuration, then select the Import button.
